Bibliography and Appearances schedule updated

Yes, I know that truely LOYAL minions would do this more than once every 18 months or so, but never-the-less, the bibliography page (linked from the home page in the right-hand-menu) is now current through November 2008, with dates for publications extending through Dec 2009.

Appearances are current for everything I know about in 2009 as well.

And if someone wants to fix the 2007 entries in the chronological bibliography, feel free to send it to me, and I’ll post it with credit!

Would any one of the loyal minions know when BHD starts snippeting? Having a “Safehold” withdrawal syndrome here…

  2. Drak Bibliophile says:

We haven’t heard yet when BHD will be published (Eric might have heard this weekend). Until we know that, there’s no way we know when snippets will start.

Is it just me, or is the feed in desperate need of change?

I read all the 16xx books that Eric publishes, as well as some of his other stuff. But I NEVER read the snippets. If I read a book, I don’t want to be left hanging, waiting at the end of the snippet chain, to get the book and read what happens.

The very rare non-snippet bits in the feed are VERY hard to winnow out of the chaff of snippets.

It should be an extremely trivial thing, to have 2 feeds. One of snippets, one of just “news”. And in fact, would save bandwidth even, since anyone that just wanted news wouldn’t be pulling down snippets that get deleted unread.

    Just a thought.

Kent, that's a great idea, and it's built into wordpress.

If you want a feed for JUST the "information" catagory, go to and you'll get a feed for just "information"

Try different numbers for different catagories…
