First, the good news. It’s done.
Second, the good news. Us loyal minions have seen the cover, and it’s pretty cool, and in a move we think is clever, invokes the American Flag Date thing from the 1632 covers, as you can plainly see from the attached image. So, why not Pre-Order it now! (Click the thumbnail for a larger version of the cover.)
Note that this cover will test the classic assumption in publishing that a novel with a picture of a black man on the cover won’t sell well. Please help us prove them wrong!

Snippets! We Want Snippets! Whew, got that out of my system.

We are always looking for books related to Arkansas. I understand that yours is an alternate-history series, but is there any connection with the state or history of Arkansas in the story? Thanks. — The Education Station, Fayetteville, AR
Your list of Robert Ross’ trophies includes:
“the gold medal he’d received after the Battle of Maida in 1805, the British Victory in the Peninsular war.”
However the Battle of Maida was fought on 4, July 1806 which was before the Peninsular War began. Also the Peninsular War is usually only considered to include battles in Spain, Portugal (and the adjacent areas of France). Maida is in Calabria Italy, a different peninsula.
Sequels!!!!!
We want sequels!
Are there going to be any further books in this series?
Question. Are there going to be additional books in this series? I hope so as I am now thoroughly hooked on them. Please get back to me.
