As one of the loyal minions, it occurs to me that some of you may not be aware that Eric's semi-monthly editors column at Jim Baen's Universe is free and open to read without a subscription.
Therefore, I think it might be appropriate to post links to those essays here, since Eric "blogs" on Baen's Bar and in his Universe editorial column rather than on his web site, leaving most of the content here to his crew of minions. There are two sets of columns "Salvos Against Big Brother" – which is Eric's take on the long-running copyright and drm debate, and "The Editor's Page."
I'm including links to both below.

Now that 1824: The Arkansas War is out, Del Rey has graciously allowed us to post the ENTIRE text of 1812: The Rivers of War on this site, Eric's blog, and the Baen Free Library.
We have the production PDF, which is not the most convenient form to read. We strongly recommend that you download the file to your local computer to read. So, without further ado, here the pdf of 1812: The Rivers of War .
And in Further news…. Arnold Bailey, the Chief wizard of Webscriptions has _already_ got it up in the Baen Free Library.
Jump to there to see the other formats available at http://webscriptions.net/pc-588-1-1812-the-rivers-of-war.aspx
(Thanks Arnold!)

1634: The Baltic War is available for pre-order at Amazon , and Tom Kidd's cover is pretty darned cool. If you haven't been following the early snippets, you probably want to.
By now, everyone assiciated with Baen authors is doubtless aware that Jim Baen has suffered a stroke, and is in a coma. For information available, you should visit Baen's Bar at http://bar.baen.com and go to the waiting-romm conference.
