robert, according to Amazon, my book is out for delivery as of 6 AM so I guess this is my last snippet. It’s been fun. I’ll be back for the next book.

I’ll start from the beginning, it’s been since February since I read the beginning, plus I want to see any changes and corrections.

I got an email earlier today saying Amazon has shipped my order! My delivery estimate is: Delivery Estimate: June 17, 2010.

So if I get my book tomorrow, I probably shall not return, until we get snippets for whatever is next.

Copies of book have been received at the bookstore where i am employeed. The cartons are marked by the publisher with an on-sale date of June 22. Of course, i received my copy of the dead tree ARC back in May.

I know David had to rewrite parts of MoH based on things in ToF, but I don’t know if this was one of them.

I guess it’s a little late to be flagging typos, but this snippet has a couple of them:

“ballroom” when “Ballroom” is meant
“Queen of torch” instead of “Queen of Torch”

Of course, the small “t” in torch got me to humming “This Little Light of Mine”, so it could be considered an edifying mistake.

I’m looking forward to the next snippet when we (hopefully) get to see Pritchart’s reaction to Honor’s revelation of just how Special Agent Cachat ties into the Green Pines incident on Mesa.

Thirdbase, his visit to 8th fleet was in AAC and Honor later got a ‘phone call’ that (in an around-about way) that told her that they were heading for Mesa.

robert, my estimated arrival date is: Delivery Estimate: June 25, 2010 – June 29, 2010 and has been for quite a while. Amazon now lists the book as in stock.
