#9 – consider what a mortar would do that castle on the hill if it lobbed explosive shells. I think this scene sets us up for a battle where exactly that takes place.

Hmm, a castle on top of a hill. I suspect the battle there will have those cannons we saw in the last book. Hopefully, they’ve figured out the shells by that point.

Well, on the other hand we are getting a bit more polarizing of “Good Guys” from Corisande (like the Gahrvai family) and “Bad Guys” (hardliners).

I did get a bit confused from time to time as to whether we were in the northern or southern hemisphere. For awhile I figured these were some of Sharleyan’s nobles plotting. I agree with Tom, this needs a bit of cleanup work.

TYPO TYPO Cherayth TYPO TYPO…..Cherayth is the capital of Chisholm. endless ride from Manchyr to Serabor makes a lot more sense.

I hope this is fixed before the book is published.
