I wrote that author’s note in RoF a long time ago, and the date I gave seemed reasonable at the time. It just didn’t work out, that’s all.

I’ve just started work on THE BALTIC WAR. What’s more to the point, Baen Books now has it definitely scheduled for publication in May, 2007.

I seem to recall that you promised the 1634 Baltic War for that fall. Has my mind turned to mush or what? Love those ARC's. I not only get to sneek a peek, but get to correct the obvious typo's (I download .rtf's). I promise not to hold my breath for TBW if you argee not to hold your breath for free proof readings (I'd never get a copy then). By the way WHAT DO YOU MEAN START THE NOVEL?
